Effect of Different Levels of EMS on Chrysanthemum (Dendranthema grandiflora L.)

Chrysanthemums are widely cultivated and have a significant market value due to their popularity as ornamental plants traditional medicinal uses. The global chrysanthemum includes various segments, such cut flowers, potted plants, products. Therefore, the present investigation was carried out with title at Department of Horticulture, Naini Agricultural Institute, Sam Higginbottom University Agriculture Technology Sciences, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh during Winter-2022-23 view determine effect different doses EMS mutagen application on variety Sunburst cushion for its growth quality work economics treatments. Under this experiment, overall, 7 treatment prepared by soaking planting material in mutagens five hours each, Treatments comprised T0 (Control), T1 (0.5% mutagen), T2 (0.75% T3 (1.0% T4 (1.5% T5 (1.25% T6 (2.5% mutagen). current study found that use lower concentration had positive impact survival, growth, development chrysanthemums. Among treatments tested, showed most favorable results terms leaf width, length, stem number flowers per plant, early flowering. composed 0.5% mutagen.
